1. Academic Background

Completed bachelor's degree in a related field (minimum 180 ECTS credits).

Minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5/4.0 (varies by program; competitive programs may require higher).

2. Language Proficiency

English-taught programs:

IELTS 6.0+ / TOEFL iBT 72+ / Cambridge B2 First (FCE).

Note: Some programs (e.g., Applied Nanotechnology) may require IELTS 6.5+.

Czech-taught programs:

B2/C1 level certificate (e.g., CCE exam) for non-native speakers.

3. Entrance Exams/Assessments

Written exams: Subject-specific tests (e.g., biology for Ecology programs).

Interview: Common for humanities/social science programs.

Exemptions: Applicants with a bachelor's from UJEP may skip exams.

4. Required Documents

Notarized bachelor's diploma + transcripts (translated to English/Czech if necessary).

CV (highlighting academic/professional experience).

Motivation letter (500–700 words).

2 recommendation letters (academic preferred).

Proof of language proficiency.

5. Visa (Non-EU Students)

Admission letter from UJEP.

Proof of finances (~€5,000/year in a blocked account).

Health insurance (minimum €60,000 coverage).
