The University of Huddersfield is a public research university in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. It got its university status from the Queen’s Privy Council in 1992. The university operates campuses in Queensgate, Oldham, and Barnsley and it is a gold-rated university in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

The university has partnered with Study Group to provide International Foundation Year, Extended International Foundation Year, International Year One, English Language Preparation and the Pre-Masters Programs. The International Foundation Year will develop the academic knowledge and English language skills and prepare the student for the first year of a chosen undergraduate degree. The International Year One will develop the academic knowledge and English language skills of the student and prepare for the second year of the chosen undergraduate degree. The Extended International Year One program is a four-term program designed for students who are overqualified for a foundation year but under-qualified for the International Year One and may have exceeded their two years of pre-undergraduate study. The Pre-Master’s program is two-terms of academic subjects and English language training to prepare the student for a range of Master’s degrees at the University of Huddersfield.
