The University of Illinois Springfield campus is situated 740 acres of prairie terrain six miles southeast of Springfield, close to Lake Springfield and Lincoln Land Community College. Through its recreation center, the University of Illinois Springfield offers sports and fitness. In the fall of 2007, the cutting-edge Recreation and Athletic Center (TRAC) opened. Residential life at the University of Illinois Springfield offers a more affordable option of sharing a bedroom idea in a small number of flats. A 4-seat dinette table and all equipment (save the microwave) are included. Each student's bedroom is furnished with a twin XL bed, mattress, and dresser, as well as a desk and chair that they can share. The living room will have a desk, couch, and lounge chair. University of Illinois Springfield Part-time jobs
The University of Illinois Springfield permits part-time jobs under certain restrictions. For consideration as a student worker during the fall and spring semesters and for three (3) hours during the summer, an undergraduate student must be registered for six (6) or more credit hours. Any week there are no classes or exams, as well as over the summer, all students are permitted to work up to 37.5 hours per week. I-9 forms must be electronically completed by all student employees.
