University of Jinan History

University of Jinan was established in the year 1948. It is a public and provincial university which is situated in Shandong Province in China. It was originally started as the Shandong Institute of Building Materials but in 2001, three colleges were merged and it was renamed as the University of Jinan.

University of Jinan Programs, Courses and Schools

University of Jinan has been organised into 24 academic schools offering education in various disciplines of study. Students can opt for undergraduate, master’s, majors, minors and doctoral courses. Other programs to go for include research, continuing education, study abroad and language training.

Faculties of the university are doctorate and master’s holder in their area of study. The university is known for its research projects and programs as it has government managed labs and research centres with award winning students and faculties.

University of Jinan has an urban campus covering an area of 2.43 million square metres. The campus is highly secure and provides with the facilities like cafeteria, athletic grounds, recreational area, cultural centre, plaza, campus store, lake, museums, gym, innovation labs, healthcare centre and counselling services. Students clubs and unions are available for the students and students can participate in several events. University media includes news centre and video channel.

University library is the huge and modern library with the collection of journals, manuals, manuscripts, research guides, documents, archives and publications. Sittings, printing systems, computers, internet, study rooms and lecture rooms are available.
