University of La Serena History

University of La Serena is one of the esteemed public university located in La Serene, North Santiago, Chile. The University was founded in the year 1981. The university initially started as a merger of Universidad de Chile and Universidad de Technca Del Estado in order to induce higher education in Mining. It is also known as ULS.

University of La Serena comprises of many Schools and departments, seven faculties and one Research Institutes.
