University of Limassol requires international applicants to meet specific postgraduate admission requirements before enrolling in a master’s program. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
In terms of academic performance, the university generally expects a minimum 2:2 degree from UK institutions, a GPA of 3.0 or above from US institutions, or a grade of 6.5 or higher from Cypriot or Greek universities, although applicants with slightly lower grades may still be considered if they have relevant professional experience or qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, or ACA.
International students must also demonstrate English language proficiency, usually at upper B1 level or above, through recognized tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent examinations.
Students who do not meet the required English level may enroll in the university’s English Language Foundation Course before starting their studies.
In addition, applicants are typically required to submit two reference letters, academic transcripts, and copies of their degree certificates.
After submitting the application and supporting documents, eligible candidates may be invited for an admissions interview as part of the selection process.
International applicants must also provide supporting documents for admission and visa processing, including a valid passport, certified copies of academic records, and proof of financial support (such as a bank statement showing about €7,000 for living expenses).
