1. International students applying for an undergraduate programme at the University of Madeira must meet the university's admission requirements under Portugal's International Student Statute.

2. Applicants are required to have completed a secondary school qualification that grants access to higher education in their home country or hold an equivalent Portuguese secondary education qualification.

3. They must submit official secondary school certificates and academic transcripts, together with certified translations if the documents are not issued in Portuguese or English. 

4. Proof of language proficiency is required for programmes taught in Portuguese or English, depending on the language of instruction. Additional application documents include a valid passport or identification document, a recent passport sized photograph, and any other documents specified by the programme.

5. Applications are submitted through the University of Madeira's online admissions portal, and applicants are required to pay the applicable application fee and upload all supporting documents before the stated deadline. International students are encouraged to apply early to allow sufficient time for document verification, visa processing, and travel arrangements.
