University of New Orleans History

The University of New Orleans is a public university located in New Orleans, Louisiana. This university is a part of the University of Louisiana system. The university was established in the year 1958 for the development of the Southern part. Since then, the university has been educating more and more students. The university was earlier known as Louisiana State University in New Orleans and later in 2011, it was named as University of New Orleans.
