MASTER PROGRAMS - you must have been awarded a Bachelor's degree by an internationally recognized university and be able to demonstrate the minimum language requirement.

PHD PROGRAMS - you must have been awarded a Master’s degree by an internationally recognized university and be able to demonstrate the minimum language requirement.

For BA/BSc, MA/MSc and PhD/DLA programs-TOEFL (iBT internet-based) -72 points, IELTS – 5.5, Cambridge ESOL – B2 level, TELC – B2 level , ECL – B2 level

For MA in English Studies and PhD in English Applied Linguistics TEFL/TESOL - TOEFL (PBT paper-based) – 557 points, IELTS (Overall Band Score) – 5.5, Cambridge ESOL – B2 level, TELC – B2 level , ECL – B2 level

Q. Can I waive off an English language condition?

You do not have to submit an official English test result if one of the following criteria applies to you: 

  • You have a major/minor in English, i.e. the English language is the field of study (studies in English linguistics or literature)

  • You have continued your high school or undergraduate studies in the English language entirely, (an official certificate about this fact, issued by your school/university is necessary)

  • You are a native English-speaking applicant (a copy of your passport for proof)

Scholarships

The Hungary Government Scholarship is a Fully Funded Scholarship to Study Bachelors, Masters, One Tier Master, Non-Degree, and Ph.D. Degree Program. More than 5,000 Scholarships will be awarded in the academic year 2021. All the Expenses will be Funded by the Government of Hungary. Your chance to excel in your career. You can live and study in a country. IELTS is Not Compulsory.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants Must fulfil the following Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants from all nationalities (International) except EU/EE are eligible to apply.

Hungary Citizens are not eligible.

Students must hold at least 12-year education for admission in undergraduate or bachelor`s degrees

For Master degree applications applicants must have the undergraduate/bachelor (16 years) degree/transcript or equivalent education for the admission requirement

Applicants must hold master and bachelor degree/transcript (total 18 years) or equivalent education for the PhD admission requirements

Students must have outstanding and good academic performance
