University of Richmond History                                           

University of Richmond also known as U of R and UR is an American private liberal arts university located in Richmond, Virginia. The university was established in 1830 by the Virginia Baptists as Richmond College and has ever since grown to enroll over 4000 students.

University of Richmond is primarily an undergraduate institution but it does offer one Masters in Business Administration or MBA program. The university comprises of five schools which include Business, Arts and Sciences, Leadership Studies, Law, and Professional and Continuing Studies.
