Admission requirements for master's programs at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ):
Application Fee Payment
Applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of USD $148.00. Payment can be made via credit/debit card or bank transfer to Banco Pichincha or Banco Bolivariano. A screenshot of the payment confirmation must be sent to the admissions office along with personal details and program of interest.
Online Application Form
Candidates need to complete and submit an online application form, which will be provided by the Admissions Office. This form, along with a passport-size photo, should be sent via email to the admissions office.
Bachelor’s Degree and Transcript
Applicants must provide a copy of their bachelor's degree and an official transcript of grades. If the degree was obtained abroad, it should be registered with Ecuador's National Secretariat for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SENESCYT).
English Proficiency
A certain level of English proficiency is required, as specified by each program. This can be demonstrated through an internal proficiency exam, submission of valid international test scores (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS), or by having completed an undergraduate degree at USFQ within the last two years.
Online Aptitude Test
Applicants must take an online aptitude test assessing verbal and mathematical reasoning skills. The test is designed to evaluate the candidate's ability to process, analyze, and use information to solve problems.
Basic Documentation Submission
Within one week of the aptitude test, applicants must submit the following documents: bachelor's degree, official transcript, SENESCYT registration (if applicable), and a copy of their identity card or passport.
