The University of Sao Paulo is a public university in the Brazilian, which is located in Sao Paulo. It is the largest Brazilian University and the country’s most reputable educational institution. The University was established in the year 1934.

The University of Sao Paulo offers 247 undergraduate programs and 239 graduate programs in all area of study. It also offers online courses and Certification courses. The University of Sao Paulo has more than 5,372 academic staff, 15,341 administrative staff 92,792 students including 58,204 undergraduates and 29,547 graduate students.
University of Sao Paulo Campuses
University of the port, its eleven campuses, four of them inside the city of the urban center. The remaining campuses is within the cities of Bauru, Lorena, Piracicaba, Pirassununga, RibeirãoPreto and 2 in São Carlos. The University of São Paulo has 42 libraries managed by the Integrated Library System, that makes academic researches quicker and it provides researchers quick access to international publications.

The University of Sao Paulo received awards 1,852 for their good achievement and for the distinctions. USP was classified within the 1st place, relating to the number of doctorates awarded throughout 2011. USP and Pasteur Institution inaugurate innovation platform. USP formed 10 of the 16 founders of “Unicorns”, in Brazil. Since its foundation in 1934, USP has contended elementary role in advancing research within the country, whether or not within the scientific, technological or social field, because of the work done by its students, employees, and teachers. Currently, USP is chargeable for quite two-hundredths of all scientific production in Brazil.

The University of Sao Paulo is ranked among the top 70 universities in the world, in the Ranking "Top Universities by Reputation 2013" published by Times Higher Education. According to the 2013 tutorial Ranking of World Universities, USP is placed in the group of the 101–151 top world universities. According to the 2013 CWTS city ranking the University of Port is placed within the position twelfth at the planet. The University has always been committed to its motto of “Science will win”, or with “Knowledge you will conquer”.
