Chambéry, France
1. For undergraduate admission to the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB), requirements depend on the applicant's nationality, previous qualification and country of residence.
2. International students applying for first year bachelor's (Licence 1) with a foreign secondary-school diploma that gives access to higher education in their home country generally need to complete the Demande d’Admission Préalable (DAP) procedure if they are from outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland, Monaco or Andorra.
3. Applicants living in a country covered by Études en France, including India, must submit their application through the Campus France/Études en France system; applicants in countries outside that procedure follow the appropriate DAP process.
4. Applicants normally need to demonstrate completion of secondary education and eligibility for university study, submit their academic records and supporting documents, and meet the language requirements of their chosen programme.
5. For French taught programmes, applicants may need to demonstrate sufficient French language proficiency, and the DAP route may involve the TCF DAP French test; USMB states that this test costs €74 when organised by the university.
6. After receiving admission, students must complete administrative registration followed by academic registration with their assigned faculty, institute or school. International students who require a visa must also complete the applicable Campus France and visa procedures.
