University of Southern Denmark History

The University of Southern Denmark has campuses situated in Southern Denmark and on Zealand. The University of Southern Denmark was started in 1998. The university is the third-largest and, given its roots in Odense University, the third-oldest Danish university.

University of Southern Denmark Programs, Courses, and Schools

The University of Southern Denmark comprises five faculties that is Humanities, Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, and Health Sciences. It has approximately 35 institutes, 30 research centers, and a well-equipped university library. It is the only university in Scandinavia that offers a degree program in chiropractic Studies. The University focuses on areas such as communication, information technology, and biotechnology.

University of Southern Denmark Campuses

The campuses of the university are located in Odense, Esbjerg, Kolding, Copenhagen, Slagelse, and Sønderborgall with main focus on education and research. Odense is the university’s largest campus and at the same time the largest educational institution of Southern Denmark.

The University of Southern Denmark presents the Danish Government Scholarship by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science just for elite students in reward of the necessary investment that overseas students build throughout their education.
