The University of Strasbourg Background and History
The University of Strasbourg was established in the sixteenth century and was later divided into three separate institutes Louis Pasteur University, Marc Bloch University, and Robert Schuman University. The University of Strasbourg has a total of 51,000 students and more than 32000 researchers. These three universities were later joined to constitute the University of Strasbourg.
