Established in 1988 (though it traces its roots to 1870), the University of Technology is a public university in Sydney, Australia. The iconic UTS campus is located in the heart of Sydney’s southern CBD, within Sydney’s creative industries precinct.
The university comprises of 9 faculties: Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences; Faculty of Business; Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building; Faculty of Engineering and Information and Technology; Graduate School of Health; Faculty of Health; Faculty of Law; Faculty of Science; and Faculty of Transdisciplinary Innovation. Through these faculties the University of Technology, Sydney offers 130 undergraduate and 210 postgraduate programs. UTS was ranked 1st in Australia and 15th globally in the Times Higher Education top 150 universities under 50 years of age global ranking.
