University of the Aegean History

University of the Aegean is one of the esteemed public university located in Esvos, Chios, Samos, Rhodes, Syros and Lemnos, Greece. It is situated at the six serene and quaint islands of Greece. The University was founded in the year 1984. The university initially started after the World War I to stimulate education in Greece by the Government. After undergoing many economic hardships the University is acclaimed to be the best University in Greece. The University is research oriented in Information Technology.

University of the Aegean University comprises of five Schools, five Schools and eighteen departments. The University owes fifteen Faculties. It offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in the disciplines of Architecture, Arts, Administrative Sciences, Food Sciences, Bio Informatics, Medicine Natural Evaluation, Nutritional Sciences, Theology, Economics, Mediterranean Studies, Tourism, Communication Sciences, Politics, Law and many more. The University has international research affiliations with many countries all across the globe.

University of the Aegean has a huge campuses are lush and green and depicts beautiful ancient architecture. It represents a very picturesque view. The hostel rooms available for students for students are fully furnished. The library of the university has 6 branches all across the campus. The library of the University is very big and digitalised and well furnished with latest version of books, mandates, journals and articles.
