University of the Cumberlands History

The University of the Cumberlands is a private university that is located in Williamsburg, Kentucky. The university was founded in the year 1888 as a small institute named the Williamsburg Institute by a group of ministers. Then in 1913, it became a college from the institute. Then again in the year 2005, the University of the Cumberlands expanded by adding more courses and became the University of the Cumberlands. Today, the university has around 15,000 students enrolled in various different programs from all around the world. The university has a 20:1 student and faculty ratio. There are around 40 majors, minors, and professional programs offered to the students.

University of the Cumberlands Visa and Immigration

International students applying to the University of the Cumberlands are eligible for both F1 and J1 visas depending on the course they have applied for.
