In 2003, Dr. Hafsa Zaneb became a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Anatomy and Histology. In 2004, she was appointed as a lecturer, and in 2009, she was promoted to assistant professor. In 2015, she was granted tenure, and in 2015 and 2019, respectively, she was elevated to Associate Professor and Professor. For almost 12 years, she has been in charge of the Department of Anatomy and Histology. Her research and teaching continue to be her key contributions. In 2006, he earned a doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree with distinction (Bronze Medalist), and in 2013, he finished his PhD thesis in microbiology through his own-managed worldwide joint research projects with Penn State, USA. The thesis used various bioinformatic pipelines (e.g., MOTHUR, MEGAN, METAGENassist, etc.) to analyze the respiratory microbiome of birds in a culture-independent manner. Subhan Qureshi graduated from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Pakistan, with a DVM, MSc (Hons), and Ph.D. He joined the University of Agriculture in Peshawar, Pakistan, after 22 years of employment with the provincial livestock department of KP, Pakistan. There, he conducted research on animal health, reproduction, entrepreneurship, and bio-risk management. Dr. Qureshi has authored fifteen books, three book chapters, and sixty-five journal articles. Animal welfare and stress physiology are among his areas of study.
