University of Wales Trinity Saint David, all share responsibility for safeguarding since anyone in the community could be at danger of abuse or neglect. Each of us has a responsibility to ensure the safety of the others. Although certain populations may be more susceptible to abuse or neglect, circumstances rather than individual traits are more likely to raise risk, which frequently results from a combination of variables. To help protect our community, the University collaborates with our employees, students, Students' Union, and regional networks. To exchange information, identify problems, and address obstacles, we collaborate with local councils, law enforcement, and other statutory organisations. The University fulfils its legislative obligation to keep vulnerable individuals from being involved in terrorism or extremism as part of its local cooperation initiative.
