University of Zagreb History
The University of Zagreb also known as Sveu?ilište u Zagrebu in Croatian is one of the oldest universities in Central Europe and is based in Zagreb, Croatia. The university was established in 1669 as Jesuit Academy of the Royal Free City of Zagreb by the decree of Leopold I. The university presently enrolls 0ver 70,000 students and employs 7900 staff.
