General Requirements:

    •    Academic Qualifications: Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

    •    English Language Proficiency: An IELTS score of at least 6.5 is required. If an applicant does not possess an IELTS certification, they can take a language exam at VUM. 

Application Steps:

    1.    Submission of Initial Documents:

    •    Completed application forms for both VUM and Cardiff Metropolitan University.

    •    Copy of higher education diploma or a letter confirming current year and semester of study.

    •    Academic transcript or reference with current study results.

    •    Copy of secondary school diploma and transcript.

    •    English language proficiency certificate (if available).

    •    Two letters of recommendation in English.

    •    Curriculum vitae in English.

    •    Cover letter addressed to both VUM and Cardiff Metropolitan University.

    •    Copy of ID card or passport.

    •    Declaration for personal data.

    2.    Interview and Examination:

    •    Eligible applicants will be scheduled for an interview conducted in English, either on-site at VUM or online (webcam required).

    •    If the applicant lacks an internationally recognized English proficiency certificate, they will need to take VUM’s English language exam.

    3.    Conditional Acceptance:

    •    Successful candidates receive a conditional acceptance letter, details of due fees, and payment terms.

    4.    Final Registration:

    •    Upon meeting all conditions, applicants must submit original or notarized copies of required documents, including diplomas, transcripts, health certificates, and passport-sized photos.

Additional Notes:

    •    International Students: Non-EU and EEA applicants may need to undergo additional procedures, such as document legalization and visa applications. 

    •    English Preparatory Course: Applicants lacking the required English proficiency may enroll in a 10-month language preparatory course in English or Bulgarian, depending on the chosen program.
