Frequently Asked Questions

The admission process consists of three steps. First, fill in the online application form and attach the required documents: proof of the 30 EUR application fee, a motivation letter addressed to the Rector, a photostory of 7 photos telling a story, and a film project of up to 5 minutes. Second, participate in a 10-15 minute online entry interview conducted in English by a film directing professor. Third, within 3 days of the interview you will be notified of the admission decision, and within 7 days you must sign a contract with the university.
Applications are accepted in two rounds each year. The first round runs from January 20 to May 5, and the second round runs from May 5 to July 31. It is recommended to start the application process as early as possible, especially for international students who need to arrange visas and accommodation.
