1.    Academic Preparation:

    •    High School Diploma or Equivalent: Applicants must have completed high school or possess a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.

    •    College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADR): Students should have completed a series of core courses during high school, as outlined by the Washington Student Achievement Council. 

    2.    Grade Point Average (GPA):

    •    A minimum GPA of 2.70 on a 4.00 scale is required. Applicants with a GPA between 2.30 and 2.69 may be considered for the Undergraduate Foundation Program, which offers additional academic support. 

    3.    Standardized Test Scores:

    •    WSU operates on a test-optional policy; submission of SAT or ACT scores is not required for admission decisions. 

    4.    Application Materials:

    •    Application Form: Complete the online application through WSU’s admission portal.

    •    Application Fee: A non-refundable fee is required with the application.

    •    Transcripts: Official high school transcripts or GED certification must be submitted.

    •    Personal Statement: While not mandatory, a personal statement can provide insight into the applicant’s experiences and aspirations.

    •    Letters of Recommendation: Not required but can be included to strengthen the application.
