Washington University Medical Center comprises 164 acres, along the eastern edge of Forest Park. It is home to the Washington University School of Medicine and its associated teaching hospitals. Washington University North and West Campus host administrative functions that are not student focused. It also provides off-site storage space for the Performing arts Department.

TYSON RESEARCH CENTER

Washington University acquired the Tyson as surplus property from the federal government in 1963 and it is used as the biological field station and research education center.
