West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine is a privately run medical school that is based in Lewisburg, West Virginia. The school was established in the year 1970 when the pioneers of the West Virginia State Society of Osteopathic Medicine decided that there was a need for doctors in that region to serve the communities residing there. In the year 1972, it then began as a Greenbrier College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 1976, the college was renamed and given the name of what it is known as today West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. It is now a renowned institution in Lewisburg.

  • Submit MCAT scores
  • Submit all official transcripts
  • Coursework taken at a foreign institution must be evaluated for U.S. equivalence by an AACOMAS-approved evaluation service.
  • Submit AACOMAS application fee
  • Letter of recommendation
  • US Citizenship is required
