Western University of Health Sciences is a private university that has its main campus based in Pomona, California. The other campus is in Lebanon, Oregon. Earlier it was the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific that started in the year 1977. When the University began its classes there were only 36 students getting enrolled. Gradually, the university started adding more courses and programs and in the year 1986, there were around 400 students getting enrolled. In the year 1996, the college was given a new name and is the Western University of Health Sciences. The university over the years kept growing and added different other colleges like the College of Nursing, College of health sciences, and others. Today, Western University of Health Sciences has around 3000 students enrolled and offers 27 academic programs through three of its campuses.

Western University of Health Sciences Visa and Immigration support is provided by the office of International admission. Students once accepted by the school can then apply for Visa. They are eligible for both F1 and J1 Visa but what is suited for them absolutely depends on the course they have taken. They have to apply for I-20 or DS- 2019.
