Applicants may use either the Whitworth Application or the Common Application (both have no application fee).
High school transcript: Applicants must submit unofficial (or official) high school transcripts showing completion of secondary school.
Standardised test scores (SAT/ACT/CLT) are optional for many applicants. If a student comes from a non-accredited homeschool program or has competency-based grades without GPA, test scores may be required.
Academic recommendation form or letter (optional) can be submitted.
For international undergraduate applicants:
Must submit official transcripts (and may need credential evaluation) if secondary credentials are from outside U.S. system.
English-language proficiency: minimum TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.5, PTE 56, DET 110; or SAT Critical Reading & Writing sub-score 500; ACT English sub-score 24.
Financial guarantee and diploma/final transcript required.
Application deadlines: Domestic first-year: Early Action I Nov 15, Early Action II Jan 15, Regular Decision March 1.
There is a “Guaranteed Admissions & Aid Program (GAP+)” for Washington high school students with GPA 3.6 or higher, guaranteeing admission and academic achievement scholarship up to $9,000 per year.
