Wichita State University abbreviated as WSU is an American higher education establishment located in Wichita, Kansas. The university was established as Fairmount College in 1895 and was renamed to Municipal University of Wichita in 1926. It adopted its present name in 1964 and currently enrols over 16000 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
