Everything You Need to Know About Application Requirements at Wisconsin School of Business

For students entering the BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) programme: Applicants to the university must indicate a business major as their first choice to be considered for direct admission to the business school. 

For “pre-business” applicants (current students at UW–Madison or transfer):

Must hold a cumulative UW–Madison GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application and at the end of the spring term. 

Must complete four prerequisite courses with a letter grade: one in communications, one in quantitative reasoning, one in economics, and one in human behavior. 

Must attend a required “Pre-Business 101” workshop during the intended application year. 

Application deadlines (for direct high school applicants):

Fall Early Action: November 1

Fall Regular Decision: January 15

Spring Regular Decision: October 1  (decision by end of December)
