1. Completed Undergraduate Application
Begin by submitting the online application through YSU’s admissions portal. This includes personal information, academic history, and program selection. A non-refundable application fee of $45 is required, though it may be waived for veterans and active-duty military personnel.
2. Official High School Transcripts
Arrange for your high school to send an official transcript directly to YSU’s Office of Admissions. This transcript should include all coursework completed from grades 9 through 12 and indicate the date of graduation. If you're still in high school, partial transcripts can be submitted for early admission consideration, but a final official transcript is required before enrollment.
3. ACT or SAT Scores (Optional)
Submitting standardized test scores is optional for most applicants. However, some programs may require them for admission. If you choose to submit scores, ensure they are sent directly from the testing agency to YSU. If you have an associate degree, test scores are not required.
4. Proof of English Language Proficiency (for Non-Native Speakers)
