General Requirements:

Upper Secondary Education:

Completed qualification that allows university entry in the applicant’s home country (e.g., high school diploma, IB, EB, etc.)

GPA:

No strict cutoff, but a strong GPA (≈ 3.5/4.0 or higher) is recommended, especially in math/science

Admission Groups:

Group I: For applicants without Finnish, IB, EB, DIA/RP diplomas → SAT/ACT scores required

Group II: For applicants with Finnish, IB, EB, DIA/RP diplomas → SAT/ACT optional but beneficial

Standardized Test Scores (if applicable):

SAT:

Recommended total: 1250–1450

Math section: 700+ preferred

ACT:

Recommended composite: 26–32

Math section: 30+ preferred

English Language Proficiency:

TOEFL iBT: Minimum 78

IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.5 (with 6.0 in writing)

PTE Academic: Minimum 54
