Yes, international students can apply for a post-study residence permit that allows them to stay in Finland for up to two years to seek employment or start a business.
If you secure employment before your student residence permit ends, you can apply for a residence permit based on employment instead of the job-seeking permit.
Applicants need a valid passport, a passport photo, proof of completed degree, financial documents showing at least €560 per month, and may need a research completion certificate if applicable. An application fee is also required.
