What are the basic eligibility requirements for international student scholarships?

Basic eligibility for enrolled students requires registering at least 12 credits in the previous semester and maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or above, though this is subject to change

What documents are required for application?

Required documents include Self Introduction/Statement of Purpose (given format), Passport Copy, Photo (for student ID card), Certificate of Enrollment, Transcript, and Health and Medical Clearance Form (given format) .

How do I apply for graduate programs at Ajou University?

Applications are submitted through the 'Study in Korea' website (www.studyinkorea.go.kr). Search for Ajou University and select the desired program (Master's/Doctoral/Integrated). Both online application and original document submission must be completed on time to avoid disqualification

What entrance scholarships are available for international students?

Entrance scholarships provide 50% to 100% exemption of tuition fees for the first semester for students with excellent performance

What scholarships are available based on academic performance and TOPIK scores?

Academic Scholarship I provides 100% tuition exemption for the top student across all levels. Academic Scholarship II provides 50% exemption for students who top in each level. TOPIK I scholarship provides 100% tuition exemption for first-time acquisition of TOPIK Level 1 or 2. TOPIK II provides 50% exemption for first-time TOPIK Level 3 acquisition or advancing by one or more levels from Level 4 and up .

What is the process for study resumption and visa application for returning students?

Students on leave of absence must pay tuition before the Certificate of Admission can be issued for visa application. Required documents include Study Resumption Form, Verification of Deposit (bank statement over 2 million KRW issued within 3 months), and a valid passport copy. The final package for student visa application is provided via email once documents are received .

How long can students take a leave of absence?

The period of leave shall not exceed two semesters for one time and four semesters in total. Leave required due to military entrance, disease, childbirth, pregnancy, and parenting (under age 8) is not included in the period limit, with pregnancy/childbirth/parenting leave not exceeding two years total
