Everything You Need to Know About Application Requirements at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine

Official Transcripts: Applicants must provide official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions previously attended, including high school records if college courses were taken during that time. 

Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume: A chronological history of educational, employment, and volunteer experiences dating back to high school.

Personal Statement: A personal statement of no longer than 750 words, detailing the applicant's motivations and qualifications for pursuing a medical career.

Letters of Recommendation: A minimum of one academic letter from a professor (preferably in science) and one professional letter.

Standardized Test Scores: For U.S. citizens, nationals, and permanent residents, the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) scores are required. Non-U.S. applicants may submit an approved admissions exam from their country of study in place of the MCAT. 

Proof of English Proficiency: If the applicant's prior education was not conducted in English, proof of English language proficiency through tests such as TOEFL or IELTS is required
