High School Certificate or Equivalent
Applicants must hold a recognized high school qualification—such as Thanaweya Amma, IGCSE/GCSE (minimum 8 subjects, grade C or equivalent), American Diploma, International Baccalaureate, French Baccalaureate, German Abitur, or other international certificates—meeting the subject-specific cutoffs set by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education 

Minimum Academic Scores
For Thanaweya Amma, applicants typically need ≥75% (or subject-specific thresholds depending on the faculty). IGCSE students often require at least 8 O?Levels at grades A?C, sometimes supplemented by one A?Level or two AS?Levels according to their chosen program 

English Language Proficiency
BUE requires adequate English skills. Exemption from the internal English test is granted if you have Academic IELTS ≥?5.0 (taken after Jan?2025), TOEFL ≥?60, or high-school English results (e.g., IGCSE C grade, IB/GCSE, American diploma scores) 

Program?Specific Interviews or Portfolio Reviews
