Frequently Asked Questions

Admission to BSoG is selective and holistic. Applicants must have graduated from a recognised secondary school. The School reviews secondary school performance, examination results, English language competence, and demonstrated personal qualities. For applicants with an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, a minimum of 27 IBDP points is required; for A‑Levels (British curriculum), a minimum of CCC is required. All applicants must submit a motivation letter, curriculum vitae, official academic credentials and transcripts, and proof of English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL or IELTS) if they have not studied for at least three years in an English‑medium secondary school
Admission decisions are usually made within three weeks after receipt of a complete application. Once accepted, students must pay a €1,000 pre‑registration fee (which will be deducted from tuition) to receive their official letter of acceptance. Non‑EEA citizens are advised to contact the Belgian embassy or consulate in their home country immediately, as applying for a student visa can take several months and the requirements vary by country.
