Everything You Need to Know About Application Requirements at Canadian University Dubai

General Criteria

Must hold an accredited Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0.

English proficiency: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79, or ITP 550.

Exemptions apply for those with entire education in English-medium institution.

Conditional Admission

English score slightly below requirement (e.g., IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 71): admitted conditionally and must attain standard scores within the first semester.

Bachelor’s CGPA at 2.5–2.99: conditional entry with up to six graduate credits; CGPA must reach 3.0.

CGPA between 2.0–2.49: allowed nine non-credit preparatory credits; must achieve CGPA of 3.0 thereafter.

DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) Admission Requirements

Requires a recognized Master’s degree in a related field (Postgraduate diplomas are not sufficient).

Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0.

English proficiency standard: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79, or ITP 550 (with exemptions for English-medium educational background).

Additional requirements: a successful panel interview, at least three years of managerial experience, a CV, and an employer reference letter.

Applicants from outside the UAE must provide attested degree and equivalency certificates from MOHESR.
