Established in 1967 as campus of Sudbury’s Cambrian College, the Canadore College is a public college with three campuses at the North Bay (Aviation Technology Campus, Commerce Court Campus and College Drive Campus) and one campus at West Parry Sound in the province of Ontario, Canada.
Canadore College offers various full-time post-secondary programs, focused in several key academic domains: culinary arts; aviation technology; business & management; environmental studies & biotechnology; health, human care & wellness; community justice & police studies; indigenous studies; language, access & preparatory studies; sport & recreation; media, design & dramatic arts; and trades and technology.
The total student population at the college is more than 4,500 students (across all campuses). All the campuses except the West Parry Sound campus offer the students the on-campus accommodation.
Several of the programs taught at the Canadore College have agreements which allow the students to transfer from a college program directly into an upper year of a university degree program, thus providing the students a head start in their careers.
