With an average of only 16 students, classes are small, but there are plenty of options. Send in the Carthaginian admissions application. Along with your application for admission to Carthage, send in a $40 non-refundable application fee. Using a credit card is the recommended payment option. Send in all of your official transcripts, diplomas, and certificates from high school as well as from any prior universities you have attended. Transcripts must be sent straight from the institution to Carthage in English. Send in your official PTE, IELTS, or TOEFL results. A minimum score of 78 on the iBT and 213 on the computer version of the TOEFL are needed. IELTS requires a minimum score of 6.0. PTE Academic requires a minimum score of 50. Carthage must receive scores straight from the testing organization. While not required, SAT-I scores are recommended for overseas students. Additional scholarship consideration is given to international students who submit their SAT-I results. The College Board website has a list of SAT-I testing locations and dates. Send in the financial certification form. Bank representatives must certify all of the sums of money indicated on the certification of finances form. The sponsor statement must be submitted by your financial sponsor, if you have one. If you're applying to music or music theater, you have to do an audition.
International postgraduate students at Carthage College must submit an online application with a fee, authentic transcripts from all prior institutions, a CV or resume, a minimum TOEFL score of 78 (iBT) or IELTS score of 6.0, and, depending on the program, their GRE or GMAT results. Additionally, they must show that they have enough money for their first year of study in the US. Verification of the applicant's academic aptitude, English language skills, and financial support are all part of the admissions process for international students in order to issue a Form I-20. Applying for an F1 Visa requires completing Form I-20.

Carthage students can plan their undergraduate coursework with the help of academic counselors. A Registration Specialist assists first-year students in choosing their courses for the first semester. Students who have declared a major are paired with a Faculty Advisor beginning in the second semester. They receive guidance in future course registration and degree preparation from this faculty advisor. Career counseling is available to all Carthage students from the moment they arrive on campus. Through Carthage's extensive four-year career development program, The Aspire Program, students are paired with a Career Specialist. As part of their initial course registration process, all new students at Carthage are paired with a Student Success Advisor prior to their first semester.
At its essence, Carthage is a residential college, which entails more than just a place to sleep. They think that roommates, floormates, and even just learning to live alone may teach you a lot. The living and learning environments in Carthage's residence halls are stimulating. A live-in professional staff member and a group of student staff members supervise each of our spacious, conventional resident halls, which have first-year communities and a few floors with Greek affiliations. A comprehensive calendar of social events, leadership opportunities, and educational programs are all conveniently accessible through our halls. Applications for campus housing are open to any students studying full-time (8 or more credits each semester) in graduate programs at Carthage. Couples and families are not permitted in graduate housing; only single students are. Students in the Master of Music and Master of Science (business) degrees are given precedence over Target Language Experts in the Master of Education program.
Through The Aspire Program, which includes mentorship, alumni panels, and meet-and-greets with firms like Abbott and Deloitte, Carthage College offers career guidance to students. In order to assess their progress in experiential and extracurricular learning, students also create a digital tool called My Aspire Plan (MAP), which helps them build their leadership and entrepreneurial abilities.
