The James C. Denneny Jr. Career Development Center at Central Methodist University is dedicated to empowering students to develop the tools needed to successfully transition from college life to a professional career. Located on the 2nd floor of the Student and Community Center, the center provides services including resume review, job and internship search, career planning, graduate school preparation, and more. Students can upload resumes and cover letters for review in the "My documents" section of their Handshake account at any time. The center offers one-on-one career counseling, classroom presentations, and specialized sessions for Greek Life organizations, clubs, and athletic teams. The center celebrates student success through "CMU Hired" social media posts when students secure employment. The Career Development Center also offers career courses to help students develop the skills they need for successful job searches.
