The Lundberg Laboratory in Gothenburg is a renowned centre for cellular and molecular research, and the university conducts research here and also at the Onsala Space Observatory, which is equipped with several advance equipment like tide gauges, radiometers, navigation satellite receivers and a superconducting gravimeter, that enables scientists to study the earth and the outer universe.

1. Chalmers IPOET Scholarships for International Students
Chalmers is going to provide around 50 IPOET scholarships in 2019, funded by the Swedish Council for higher education, to prospective fee-paying students.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
• Citizens from non-EU/EEA countries who are needed to pay tuition fees for Swedish university education
• 1st year Master’s Programme applicants
The selection relies on the applicants’ relative educational excellence, which primarily includes weighted average grade however home university’s stature (including a position on international ranking lists) and priority order of the application for Chalmers Master´s programs.
