The university boasts a massive campus footprint of over 55万平方米 (approx. 550,000 square meters) situated in the heart of Gwangju. This infrastructure supports over 33,000 students daily, featuring state-of-the-art lecture halls, a lengthy administration building famous for its architectural length, and dedicated buildings for music and art performance. Beyond buildings, the infrastructure includes a high-capacity WiFi network across all academic halls, dedicated bus lanes for campus shuttles, and advanced water/sewage systems. The university has recently received a 1 billion won development fund from Genesis BBQ Group specifically to expand education and research infrastructure and improve the educational environment for global competencies. The campus also includes several parking structures facilitating commuting for staff and students
Student life at Chosun University is active and engaging, centered around the largest student union building and the various festivals held in the open quad near the main gate. Students heavily utilize the "school bus" system to traverse the large, hilly campus between classes. The university hosts an annual festival (축제) involving K-pop performances, cultural booths from the 5 independent academic divisions, and traditional Korean food events. There is a strong tutoring culture, both officially (Korean-International buddy system) and unofficially, given the rigorous medical and engineering programs. The neighborhood surrounding the university, particularly near "Chosundae 6-gil," is filled with restaurants, karaoke rooms (noraebang), and cafe spaces where students hang out between classes. Freshmen are encouraged to live in dorms to build community while maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher qualifies returning students to stay in housing complexes

The Chosun University Career Plus Center (취업플러스센터) is the hub for professional development, hosting year-round, college-specific "All-in-One" special lectures on career and employment planning. These face-to-face training sessions are designed to enhance students’ understanding of job exploration by desired job category, helping establish customized step-by-step employment preparation strategies. The center divides training into five specific fields: business administration, technology, sales management, planning/marketing, and development. Furthermore, the "Special Program for Graduates" is a structured program running from spring to summer that guides students through specific recruitment stages. The Career Center maintains partnerships with the Gwangju Employers Federation to provide direct member company recruitment information, ensuring that students receive not just theoretical advice but actual job placement opportunities with vetted local and national firms. Head of the center, Kim Jae-hong, stated the goal is to support students in growing into specialized talents by systematically preparing for employment through clear goal setting.
