CIS University has a well-structured Career Services and Internship Department that focuses on preparing students for successful careers through mandatory internships, employer partnerships, and personalized career guidance. Rather than relying solely on traditional campus placement drives, the university follows an experiential learning model in which 100% of students complete internships as part of their academic programmes. Undergraduate students undertake two compulsory internship periods a minimum 120-hour internship during the second year and a full-time internship during the first semester of the fourth year allowing them to gain substantial professional experience before graduation.

CIS University has established more than 300 collaboration agreements with national and international companies across industries including business, marketing, finance, consulting, media, technology, sports management, and international relations. The Internship Department works directly with employers by matching student profiles to suitable opportunities, coordinating recruitment, monitoring internship progress, and supporting students throughout the hiring process. Students also receive career coaching, CV and interview preparation, networking opportunities, and access to optional internships in addition to the compulsory placements.
