Application Requirements:

Submit either the Coe College Application or the Common Application. No application fee is charged.

Provide your official or self-reported GPA/high school transcript. No recommendation letters or essays are required for applicants meeting minimum academic standards, though they’re considered if submitted.

Standardized Test Policy:

Coe follows a test-optional policy. Applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher can opt to exclude SAT/ACT scores without penalty.

Submitting scores may enhance eligibility for competitive scholarships or selective programs like the Nursing program, so it’s optional but may be strategic.

Academic Benchmarks & Selectivity:

Acceptance Rate: Approximately 64–71%, reflecting moderate selectivity.

GPA Range (Admitted Students): Predominantly 3.50 to 3.74, with about 42% at 3.75+.

SAT Range (Middle 50%): 1040–1270 (average around 1190–1200).

ACT Range (Middle 50%): 22–28.

Application Deadlines:

Regular Decision: Due March 1.

Early Action Deadline: December 10.

Early Decision Deadline: November 15.

International Applicants – English Proficiency:

Required scores:

TOEFL iBT: minimum 68 (520 PBT)

IELTS: minimum 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5

Alternatives include STEP Eiken Grade 1/pre-1 or PTE Academic score of 51.
