The Durham University Business School has two locations: Waterside, Durham, DH1 1SL, located on the banks of the River Wear in the new, innovative sector of Durham City Centre. A short stroll from Stockton Road and other university facilities is Mill Hill Lane, Durham, DH1 3LB. Our departments of accounting, economics, and finance will continue to be housed at Mill Hill Lane until further notice, while our departments of management and marketing are situated at Waterside. Staff, students, and visitors will have access to both sites where teaching takes place on campus.

International students at Durham University Business School are usually required to have high academic credentials, such as particular grades in pertinent topics, and to show that they can communicate in English via standardized examinations. This frequently entails fulfilling particular A-level or International Baccalaureate (IB) criteria, or their equivalents, for undergraduate degrees. Candidates whose first language is not English must submit proof of their English language competency, such as their TOEFL or IELTS results.

Durham University Business School typically requires proof of English language proficiency, usually in the form of an IELTS score of 6.5 (with no band score below 6.0), and a relevant Bachelor's degree (often with a 2:1 or equivalent) from an accredited university. Additionally, certain programs can demand standardized exam results (such as the GMAT or GRE) or appropriate work experience. Candidates with substantial relevant work experience who do not hold a 2:1 degree may be taken into consideration. Significant managerial experience (e.g., three to five years) is required for several programs, especially MBA and DBA programs.

There are about 50 postgraduate rooms and 220 undergraduate seats at Durham University Business School. Although we have 42 ensuite rooms, roughly 30 shared rooms with two single beds, and some rooms with double beds, the majority of our accommodations are single, ordinary rooms with a single bed and communal bathroom and toilet. Every bedroom has a desk and chair, a bin, storage space, a bed, and most of them have a sink. With some adjustments to extra fees and reductions, St. John's College accepts the University's price for college housing. These include not offering discounts for rooms without sinks and not charging extra for 3/4 and double beds.

Students at Durham University Business School receive all-encompassing career help, which includes workshops, one-on-one consultations, and access to internet resources and international job boards. Helping students investigate options, interact with businesses, and get ready for the hiring process is the main goal of the school's Careers, Employability, and Enterprise Center.
