The main way to enter undergraduate programs at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) is through the Vestibular, an annual entrance exam. There’s also the PEIES program, which allows high school students to apply over three years.
1. Vestibular (Entrance Exam)
Eligibility: Completion of Brazilian high school.
Format: Multiple-choice questions in subjects like Portuguese, Literature, Chemistry, Math, Physics, Geography, History, Biology, Philosophy, and a Foreign Language (English, Spanish, French, German, or Italian), plus a written essay.
Schedule: Held over three mornings and one afternoon.
