B) Language Proficiency

Portuguese-taught programs: CELPE-Bras (Intermediate/Advanced) or proof of proficiency (e.g., prior degree in Portuguese).

English-taught programs (rare): TOEFL (80+) or IELTS (6.0+) may be accepted (confirm with the department).

C) Entrance Exam/Selection Process

Written exam (varies by program, often subject-specific).

Research proposal (for thesis-based programs).

Interview (may be conducted online for international applicants).

2. Required Documents

Transcripts & Diploma (notarized and translated into Portuguese if not in English/Spanish).

Curriculum Vitae (CV/Lattes) – Brazilian format preferred.

Statement of Purpose (Motivation Letter).

Letters of Recommendation (usually 2, from professors/researchers).

Research Proposal (for research-focused programs).
