Undergraduate Degree Requirement
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. Fisher prefers a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7, but applicants with lower GPAs may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Transcripts
Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
Letters of Recommendation
Two current letters of recommendation (recent, within ~1 year), from individuals who know the applicant in academic or professional setting.
Personal Essay / Statement of Purpose
Must provide a statement of purpose / personal essay. For the MBA or similar programs, typically around 300-500 words, articulating career goals and how the degree will help.
Resume / CV
A professional resume or CV showing employment, educational history, and relevant experience.
English Proficiency (International Graduate Applicants)
A qualifying English proficiency test is required. Minimum TOEFL score is 80 iBT. Lower scores may allow conditional acceptance or require language-development courses.
Transfer of Credits
Students may transfer up to 9 graduate credits from another regionally accredited graduate program, subject to achieving a minimum grade (often B-) in those transferred courses.
Provisional / Conditional Admission
Applicants who don’t fully meet requirements (e.g., GPA etc.) may be offered provisional admission, allowing them to take certain credits (e.g. up to 6) and then become fully admitted upon satisfying performance thresholds.
