Academic Requirements

Completion of a recognized secondary school qualification equivalent to the Australian Year 12 certificate.

A minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 65 (or its international equivalent). Some competitive programs may require a higher score.

Subject prerequisites may apply for specific programs (e.g., science, engineering, health-related courses).

English Proficiency Requirements

If English is not your first language, you must provide proof of proficiency through one of the following:

IELTS (Academic) – Minimum overall score of 6.0 (no band lower than 6.0). Some programs may require a higher score.

TOEFL iBT – Minimum 72, with at least 18 in writing.

Pearson PTE Academic – Minimum 50, with no communicative skill below 50.

Cambridge English (CAE or CPE) – Minimum score of 169, with no skill below 169.

Completion of an approved English language course or previous education in English may be accepted as an alternative.

Required Documents

Certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates from secondary school.

English language proficiency test results.

Copy of passport (photo page).

A Statement of Purpose (SOP) (if required for a specific program).

Letters of recommendation (if applicable).

Other Requirements

Some programs may require additional assessments, such as portfolios (for arts and design courses) or entrance tests.

If applicable, evidence of work experience for professional degrees.

A valid student visa (subclass 500), which requires financial proof, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), and a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from Flinders University.
